There’s a good reason that 97% of university students in the UK have a laptop. They’re compact so they don’t fill your room like a big desktop machine, they’re portable so you can haul them off to lectures with you and they’re the best way to get on Facebook on those days you can’t be bothered to get out of bed. Having all your coursework, learning tools and the entire Internet within easy reach at a moment’s notice is an incredibly powerful resource that we often take for granted until, of course, it stops working.

Upgrades

If you’re computers not running how you want it to, we can help with that. We offer a range of upgrades for most laptops to bring them upto scratch. If you find your computer struggles when you’re running several programs, maybe it could do with more memory. If you’ve run out of storage space, a new hard drive might be in order. We offer a range of upgrades can usually get them done in the space of a couple of hours

Cleanup

Alternatively, we can perform a number of optimisations to your laptop to get it running like new or, in many cases, better than new. Maybe it just needs a tweak or maybe you want us to wipe it clean and start again (taking care to backup your data first, of course). We can do it all. Whatever your needs, just give us a call. Repairs

Has your laptop stopped working altogether? Don’t worry, we’re here to help. We know that you just want it fixing, quickly. Believe us, we’ve been there. We can deal with all makes and models and are know laptops inside and out. We’ll do out utmost to cure what ails you (or, at least, your laptop) and will always be honest with you about what needs doing. If you need a computer while yours is in for repair and don’t fancy using the university ones, we can arrange a loan of one of our laptops so you can work (and go on Farmville) in the peace and quiet of your room.

Data Recovery

If the worst has happened and your laptop truly is beyond repair, there’s no need to worry as we can usually recover the data stored on it and put it onto a USB hard drive or DVD so you can easily access it from a university PC and copy it onto your shiny, new laptop when you get that - we can even restore your data for you!
